朱声希是秀水朱氏家族最后一位文采斐然的人物。他的诗词有乡野气,而无缙绅气。具体说来,其试帖诗以刻划精确、比附密切为能事,工巧有余而情韵不足。其题画诗冲淡清雅,思亲怀友诗感情真挚,咏物诗细腻委曲,山水纪游诗明秀超逸。其词作嗣续浙西词派的流风余韵,以咏物词占优位,或浓妆淡抹,直写物象,巧言切状,如印之印泥,或借题发挥,由此及彼,抒情言志。其纪游词善于将自然的清远之境运化成清新淡雅之韵。其题画词或侧重对画面的再现,或侧重对画面的升华,呈现出恬静淡雅的风格。
