Application of the “actions”function in Adobe Illustrator on processing illustrations in scientific journals

【目的】提高矢量图形处理软件Adobe Illustrator在加工处理科技期刊插图时的效率。【方法】以Adobe Illustrator cs3中文版软件为例,介绍了Adobe Illustrator软件中的"动作"功能设置的基本步骤及操作技巧,并通过实例说明了利用"动作"功能的设置实现科技期刊插图"一键式"加工处理的方法和步骤。【结果】相对于常规方法,通过利用Adobe Illustrator软件中"动作"功能可使插图加工处理所用时间缩短50%多。【结论】灵活利用Adobe Illustrator软件的"动作"功能设置可简化科技期刊插图的加工处理流程,提高插图的加工处理效率。

[ Purpose ] This paper aims at improving the efficiency of processing illustrations in scientific journals with the vectorgraph software Adobe Illustrator. [ Methodology ] This paper takes Chinese version of Adobe Illustrator cs3 as an example, the key setting steps and operation skills of the ＂actions＂ function in Adobe Illustrator are introduced. The methods and steps of processing illustrations in scientific journals with the ＂actions＂ function are illustrated from an example to show the ＂one click＂ style. [ Findings ] Compared with common methods, using the ＂actions＂ function could shorten the time of processing illustrations by over 50%. [ Conclusions ] Setting the＂ actions＂ function flexibly can simplify the process of treating illustrations in scientific technical journals and improve its efficiency.
