Based on meticulous research and reasonable analyses, the paper reveals the potential of the signs on street facades demonstrating the characteristics of street space. Using a mapping method, it explores relationships among the ~ength, width and size of the signs, their distribution, ways of how street function, and patterns of pedestrian＇s activities, providing reference for the study of urban space.
