Based on-site experience at the Blue-roof Gallery of Contemporary Art Base, an interview was initiated between Deng Jing and Liu Jiakun, the designer of the building. They focused not only on the concept, but also on some other topics such as designer＇s position, volume organization, spatial experience, material selection and construction, etc. The interview offers insights into the specific strategy Liu Jiakun adopted in coping with the specific siteconditions and local life of the Blue-roof Gallery of Contemporary Art Base.
