Faced with typical issues of China＇s urban renewal, such as land scarcity of land, complicated environments, and time pressure, etc. This project is an attempt at solving the problem by creating a win-win situation. Students are able to run freely on the rooftop tracks while all the functional requirements of a primary school are fulfilled. As a strong intervention, the school would integrate into the context as well as become the center of the urban district. This project sets a new mode for urban regeneration in China.
