The paper introduces the reader to the Vertical Forest Twin Towers in Milan, designed by Stefano Boeri. The concept ＇Vertical Forest＇ is new and applicable to high rise buildings. It enables trees and human beings to coexist in an urban environment. It enables the city to welcome the return of flora and fauna with open arms, so as to improve biodiversity. ＇Vertical Forest＇ encourages innovative architecture and furnishes a manifesto readily for it. It invites everyone to project a harmonious future of architecture and humanity, rather than dwelling on individual taste for architectural form. ＇VerticalForest＇ not only saves energy, but also improves the environmental qualities in its immediate surroundings. It is a type of high-density tower that can be transplanted into the center of any city in the world, and all kinds of trees of different dimensions may be planted vertically on it.
