北京日出东方凯宾斯基酒店立足于中国传统文化精神,以"天人合一"的思想为设计理念,创造出与山水共生的独特建筑形态。在当下众多标志性建筑为国外建筑师设计的风潮下,该项目作为北京新地标完全由本土建筑师设计显得尤为珍贵。同时,建筑师在建筑设计与技术工艺环节,进行了多种生态化建筑设计的尝试和实践,力求从场地设计、建筑布局、建筑形态、建筑细节、建造工艺、环境营造、能源利用等全方位多角度,创造一个可呼吸的绿色生态建筑,体现最初的设计思想和理念,从而实现建筑与自然和谐共生。

As the designated hotel for the 2014 APEC Summit, Beijing Sunrise Kempinski Hotel showcases on the world stage authentic Chinese local design concepts, Deeply rooted in traditional Chinese culture, with correlative anthropocosmology as its design principle, this building attempts to create a unique architectural morphology epitomized by the symbiosis of mountain and lake. Considering so many landmark buildings international architecturaJ n China are the works of firms, this new landmarkbuilding designed by chinese architects stands out by way of its local design heritage. The building takes its form from the concept of the sun rising in the east and emphasizes the natural state in which the mountains blend into the lake. Meanwhile, the architectural conception integrates the intentional language of summit hotel. The twenty vertically positioned, lines of longitude symbolize harmony and cooperation. In the meantime, eco-friendly design experiments were carried out in the phase of architectural design and technological realization. From site design, architectural layout and morphology, detail, technology, to built environment and energy consumption, the architects try to create a breathing, green, eco-friendly building that fully embodies the original design concept and principles, so that architecture and nature may coexist in harmony.
