The Main Dimensions and Realistic Trends of Teacher Capacity Research in USA

摘要 教师能力是教师胜任教师职业的"应知、应会、应具",知识、技能与品性是其基础含义,优秀的教师能力是卓越教师的显著标志。当代美国教师能力研究的四个关键维度是:教师知识、文化要求、政治考虑与教学专长,每个维度都贯穿着"关注多样性"的基本精神。综合化是美国教师能力研究的现实走向,教师能力内涵层面上的观念集成是基础,教师标准研制层面的实践集成是关节点。 Teacher capacity means what to know, what to do and what to possess as a qualified teacher, and its fundamental meaning indicates knowledge, skills and disposition. Excellent teacher capacity is representative of outstanding teacher, whose four key dimensions are teacher knowledge, culture expectations, political concerns and teaching expertise. In the above dimensions we can see the concerning - diversity idea running through the whole concept. Integration is realistic trends for current teacher capacity research in USA, in which ideas integration becomes the base in the aspect of connotation, and practical integration becomes its critical point in the development of teacher professional standards.
