浅析文学翻译中的合作原则

Analysis on the Cooperative Principle of Literary Translation

合作原则是语用学研究领域中的重要理论。在日常交际过程中,人们一方面遵循合作原则,以求交际成功进行;一方面又刻意违背合作原则,以达到某种目的。在文学翻译过程中,应考虑交际产生的具体语境、文学作品的背景、主人公的心情及说话方式,使读者有效地理解会话含义,了解文学作品内容。本文从会话中的合作原则出发,探讨如何运用合作原则来达到文学翻译的成功"交际"。

The Cooperative Principle is one of the crucial theories in Pragmatics. People would like to follow the principle to communicate with others ; on the other hand, they intend to violate it to achieve certain aims. When we translate literary works, the specific communica- tive context, the background information of the work, mood of the protagonists and their manners to talk with others should be considered to enable the readers to get the meaning of the conversations correctly and understand the work. In terms of conversational cooperative principle, this paper mainly discusses ＇about how to use cooperative Principle to achieve successful communications in literary translation.
