摘要
脐带血是胎儿娩出后残留在脐带和胎盘中的血液。新生儿脐带血中含有丰富的造血干细胞。近年来,随着医学理论及技术的日臻完善和成熟,脐带血的研究及临床应用也得到长足的发展。目前,脐带血作为公认的造血干细胞的重要来源之一,已被广泛应用于治疗儿童及成人的各种良、恶性血液系统疾病。
Umbilical cord blood is blood that remains in the placenta and umbilical cord after childbirth, which is rich in hematopoietie stem cells. With the development of medical theory and technology, the study of umbilical cord blood and its clinical application have developed considerably in recent years. Nowadays, umbilical cord blood is considered as one of the most important sources of hematopoietic stem cells, and has been widely used in the treatment of various adult and pediatric benign and malignant blood diseases.
