Polyfunctional Pattern and Evolutional Path of the Morph no^(33) in Bai

白语剑川话的语法语素no^(33)有很多语法功能,本文讨论这些功能的来历。no^(33)的诸项功能中,多数是白语内部演变而来的,但也有少数功能是语言接触的产物。

The particle no^33 in the Jianchuan dialect of the Bai language has multiple grammatical functions. This paper discusses the origin of these functions, and proposes that among the diverse functions of the morph no^33, the majority of them have evolved from internal changes in the Bai language, while a minority have resulted from contact-induced language changes.
