The main contents and revision of the international standard ISO 5003：1980 （ Flat bottom railway rails and special rail sections for switches and crossings of non-treated steel -- Technical delivery requirements） were briefly introduced. The scope, steel grades, profile and straightness tolerance, chemical composition, mechanical property, internal quality, surface quality, brand and quality certificate were emphatically introduced for the revised standard of ISO 5003.
