幸德秋水是19世纪末20世纪初日本最早译介马克思主义经典著作、弘扬科学社会主义思想、践行社会主义运动、组建社会主义政党、反对帝国主义战争的杰出代表。幸德秋水的社会主义思想主要包括社会主义的根本精神:消灭地主、资本家阶级;社会主义的发展条件:生产方式的变革;社会主义的思想主张:"四个原则"的实现;社会主义的历史贡献:自由、和平;社会主义的实现方案:天然的、和平的革命。
