How to work better in the construction of China economy, politics, society, culture, and ecological civilization is an important question for lots of state-owned energy enterprises. This paper analyzes the connotation, characteristics and position of these enterprises, points out their strategic positioning, illustrates the management mode, and puts forward some measures and suggestions. It is deemed that the energy enterprises should deepen the supervision and management reform, improve the internal operation level, intensify the layout of global strategic development, strengthen the construction of ecological civilization, make full use of the political and cultural advantages, and bring together and transform the soft strength.
