非英语专业大学生英语阅读策略使用情况调查研究——以陇东学院为例

A Survey on Non-English Major's Application of English Reading Strategies: Take Longdong University as an Example

以陇东学院134名非英语专业学生为研究对象,借助于英语阅读测试和英语阅读策略问卷对大学生的英语阅读策略应用情况进行调查。结果显示:非英语专业大学生总体应用阅读策略的频率为中等程度;阅读水平与元认知策略、认知策略以及社会/情感策略显著相关;高水平阅读者对于三类阅读策略的使用频率均高于低水平阅读者,而且在应用阅读策略时更为灵活。

Taking 134 non-English majors from Longdong University as its subjects,this study surveys the students＇ application of English reading strategies through the test paper and the questionnaire. The results show that the overall tendency of their application of reading strategies is only at the medium degree; there exists a significant correlation between the students＇ reading levels and their application of meta-cognitive,cognitive,and social / affective reading strategies; compared to low-level readers,high-level readers apply the three kinds of reading strategies with higher efficiency and more flexibly.
