近期召开的中央民族工作会议引发了国内外的广泛关注,召开这次会议的背景是近年来我国一些地区不断恶化的民族关系和我国学术界关于民族理论与制度的大讨论。本文简略回顾了民族问题研究界相关争论的主要脉络,并对中央民族工作会议文件的主要内容进行了讨论与解读。指出在坚持原有政治话语的前提下,本次会议提出了许多值得关注的改革思路,将会对我国今后的民族工作带来深远的影响。

The recent ethnic work conference of Chinese central government caused a lot of attention. The background of this conference was the deteriorating ethnic relations in some regions and the debate on ethnic policies among scholars. This paper briefly reviews the main arguments in academic circle, introduces the main contacts of the documents of this conference. It seems that on one hand the government insists some political discourse while raises many new points for the future ethnic works. This conference certainly will have important impact on the ethnic relations and ethnic works in China in the future.
