According to the characteristics and requirements of large‐scale topographic map mapping ,it proposed measurement of Total Station Update urban terrain map .Accuracy estimation method introduces the basic principles of free station and coordinate the process on the basis of solving derived rigorous adjustment formula intersection point coordinates and draw the intersection and surveys point to analyze the factors affecting the accuracy of the site design . Cadastral maps elaborated measurement diagram root control points without conditions ,Freedom of Information Act is applied to the repair of a practical and reliable measurement methods .
