现代远程教育是基于教育信息技术发展起来的学习模式,这种学习模式非常强调学习的自主性。自主学习的完成依赖的是个人掌握及应用信息工具的熟练程度,因此,信息素养对于现代远程教育学生完成学业至关重要。但调查发现,现代远程教育学生的信息素养普遍较差,远程教育机构可以通过数字图书馆、在线学习平台、加强信息素养教育的统筹规划等途径提高学生的信息素养。

Modern distance learning mode is based on information technology. It emphasizes autonomy learning which depends on the skill level of application of information tools. Information literacy plays an important role for distance learning students. The investigation finds modern distance education students＇ information literacy appears generally poor. Distance education institutions can improve students＇ information literacy through overall planning of digital library, online learning platform and enforcing information literacy education.
