Cross-Culture Integration of Sino-British Custom Conjunction

分析了中英习俗在衣、食、住、行四个方面的契合点和不同点,认为在中英文化交流与碰撞中,文化习俗深层次地影响着跨文化交流的进行,提出在中英两国交往中树立习俗差异意识,遵守求同存异原则,采取换位思考来谋求双赢等跨文化习俗交际策略。

The conjunctions and conflicts in the Sino-British custom are analyzed from four aspects including clothing, food, shelter and transportation. It considers that custom culture affect intercultural communication deeply in the Sino-British cultural exchanges and collisions. Custom cross-cultural communication strategies should be taken, such as setting custom differences consciousness, following the principle of seeking common ground while reserving differences, and perspective-taking to seek a win-win situation in the associations of China and Britain in order to achieve the international exchanges and cooperation successfully.
