A few days ago, in the crowded Q.ingdao Xinhua Bookstore,accompanied by a violin, a groupof children emerged from the crowds of people and together read aloud the traditional Chinese classical literature works, which brought about surprised joy and emotion for the readers. This was a flash mob performance jointly sponsored by Q.ingdao Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Press and Publication, Qjngdao Reciters Association and Qingdao Xinhua Bookstore Group with the theme of “Cultural Q.ingdao starts from reading,” which aims to direct the citizens to enter the world of books and experience the charm of reading. This warm and creative micro show also started the 2015 reading season among all citizens.
