The Values of the Sole Records in Good Words and Deeds of Liu Bingke

通过与正史及其他笔记小说记载相比较,考出《刘宾客嘉话录》中共有八条他书未见载的独录文献,涉及的人物除刘禹锡以外包括:刘伯刍、杜佑、范希朝、刘晏、王缙、袁德师、窦常、王承弁。通过对这些人物及其相关事宜的考辨,可以看出这八条文献的史料与文学价值,也可以由此窥见当时政治和日常生活的一角。

Compared with the records in official histories and literary sketches, eight pieces of the sole records are discovered in Words and Deeds of Liu Bingke, which is concerned to such figures as Liu Bocu, Du You, Fan Xichao, Liu Yah, Wang Jin, Yuan Deshi, Dou Chang, Wang Chengbian besides Liu Yuxi. The checking and differentiation of the figures with their deeds represents the values in history and literature of the eight literal documents and gets a glimpse of the politic and daily life at that time.
