Analysis on the Disabled Reader Service of University Libraries in Hong Kong and Its Enlightenments

香港地区高校图书馆重视残疾读者服务工作,从图书馆基础设施建设、阅读辅助设施建设等方面为残疾读者提供了便利,开展了学术支持服务、设备使用指导、代取书架上的文献等服务,并允许残疾读者在他人陪伴下进馆,优先为残疾读者服务,以方便残疾读者为宗旨,服务细致入微。借鉴于此,我国内地高校图书馆应提高对残疾读者服务的重视,重视服务设施建设,赋予残疾读者一定的特殊权利,重视与残疾读者的沟通,设立残疾读者服务项目。

The disabled reader service is important of university libraries in Hong Kong. They provide the convenience for the disabled reader from the construction of infrastructure facilities and reading auxiliary facilities, and carry out some services, such as the academic support service, the equipment use guide, taking the literature instead of the physically disabled. They allow the disabled reader into the hall in the company of others, serve the disabled reader preferentially, taking the convenience for the disabled reader as the purpose, and the service is very precise. In view of this, mainland university libraries in China should improve the attention to the disabled reader service, pay attention to the construction of service facilities, give the disabled reader some special rights, pay attention to communicate with them, and establish some service projects for the disabled reader.
