Yibin, with its advantaged geographical condition as the meeting point of Yangtze River, Jinsha River and Minjiang River, emerged into a port city and regional logistic center in Qing Dynasty and the Re-public period.Valuing integrity as the basic rule, the commercial market of Yibin featured warehouse com-merce alongside the river.With Huoshenlou Teahouse as the transaction center and well-developed banking industry as the financial guarantee, the city gradually established itself as the largest commerical and logistic center in the junction area of Sichuan, Yunnan and Guizhou Provinces, laying the foundation for the devel-opment of modern commerce and social advancement of Yibin district.Commerce and logistics in Yibin pro-moted the complementary development of the southwestern and Yangtze River economic zones, and thus made great contributions to the economic development of the western part of China.
