高校社会服务职能已然成为当前我国高校发展无法回避的一个重大理论与实际问题,民族地区高校因其负有兴疆、稳疆的重大作用,其社会服务职能尤为重要。然而,要顺利实现这一职能,需要根据自身的发展定位、深化对服务方式的认识。在对策上,要从自身及所在地的社会实际情况出发,通过合理利用与发挥自身优势,以区域特色产业为依托,为新农村和社区文明建设多做贡献。

Nowadays, social service has become a significant theoretical and realistic issue which cannot be ignored in the development of our colleges. Colleges in ethnic minority areas under- take the mission of developing and stabilizing of borderland, so their social service is more im- portant. To realize this function successfully, colleges in ethnic minority areas need to set up correct concept on self-localization, regional concept and service patterns. Depending on the real condition of both their own and local societies, colleges in ethnic minority areas should make full use of their advantages and local featured industries to contribute to the development of new countryside and civilized community.
