弃考留学:中国高等教育的尴尬

Giving up College Entrance Examination and Study Abroad:the Embarrassment of Chinese Higher Education

随着教育国际化水平和国民经济条件的提升,通过全国普通高等学校招生统一考试获取大学入学资格不再是高中生的唯一选择,数目惊人的高中生开始放弃国内高考备战"洋高考"。中国高等教育质量、教育方式和国际化程度三大供求矛盾成为推动每年近20万的高中生选择国外求学之路的主要因素。未来中国高等教育必须要从此三方面进行改善,以在国际高等教育竞争中不再尴尬。

With the development of education intemationalization and the rise of people＇ s living standard, Chinese high school students do not regard passing the Nationwide College Entrance Examination as the one and only way to acquire the chance to receive higher education. An as- tonishing number of students begin to give up the Nationwide College Entrance Examination and to choose studying abroad. The discrepancies between supply and demand in the quality of Chinese higher education, education methods and the degree of internationalization are three main elements that prompt nearly two hundred thousand students to study abroad. Therefore, Chinese higher education should make some improvement in the above three areas in future to become more competitive.
