国外伊恩·麦克尤恩研究述评

伊恩·麦克尤恩是英国当代文坛最具影响力的作家之一。本文对国外（主要是英语界）麦克尤恩研究分成三个阶段进行回顾、归纳和梳理。文章指出,有关道德、伦理问题的争论、探究渗透于麦克尤恩研究的各个阶段,并变得愈加复杂和深入。批评者们从最初对作品道德主旨的简单探索逐渐拓展至对叙述伦理的考量;也有学者跨学科地借鉴当代伦理学的批评话语或将文本的审美形式研究与伦理批评结合起来,探究文本内外的人物、作者和读者之间的多重伦理关系问题。国外麦克尤恩研究在研究视角日趋多元化的态势下,对其作品中伦理、道德问题的多维度探究依旧是日后麦克尤恩研究的热点。

Ian McEwan is one of the most influential contemporary English writers. A literature review of Ian McEwan studies abroad （especially the English ones） is presented here in three periods to point out that the examination of the moral and ethical issues has permeated the three periods. And the discussion of the moral and ethical issues has become complex in that the thematic issues related to morality are approached by critics in simple manner in the early period, narrative ethics discussed by later critics, the ethical relationships among the characters, the author and the reader explored by latest critics in the light of the critical discourse drawn from the contemporary ethics or in the context of the combination of form studies and ethical criticism. The ethical criticism will still be the hot approach to Ian McEwan while the perspectives on Ian McEwan studies are becoming more and more plural and multiple.
