摘要
本文把乔伊斯小说《尤利西斯》置于阿恩海姆的"格式塔"美学理论中进行考察,探明"动态平衡"是其文本构造最根本的美学原则。格式塔美学强调作品局部变奏与整体统一之间的平衡。一方面,《尤利西斯》文本表层的活跃与混乱呈现出现代感十足的动态美,为作品注入活力,并丰富读者的审美体验;另一方面,以"聚焦"与"对立"为组织原则的深层结构在文本内部建立起秩序,有效平衡了表层的不稳定,使作品达到整体的和谐,并有效促进了各种艺术风格的兼容与整合。
The paper examines the text of Ulysses in light of Arnheim's Gestalt theory and finds that its textual configuration is characteristic of "dynamic equilibrium". Gestalt aesthetics focuses on the balance between variety and unity. On the one hand, the volatile and chaotic surface of Ulysses featuring modern dynamic beauty infuses huge vitality into the work and enriches the reader's aesthetic experience. On the other hand, the deep structure based on the principle of "focus" and "opposition" establishes the inner order for the text, neutralizes the superficial instability and results in the holistic harmony of the work. Profitting from the dynamic equilibrium, the author achieves the integration of various artistic styles in one work.
