Management Countermeasures of Animal Medical Wastes From Grassroots Animal Clinics

动物诊疗废弃物是对人体及环境有极大危害的医疗垃圾。通过对基层一些动物诊疗机构的调查发现,基层动物诊疗机构存在随意处置废弃物、管理机构少、监管难度大、缺乏交流等问题,其原因主要是认识不足、缺乏规范、投入不足、缺少行业协会等,提出了采取立法建制、规范管理、示范推广、成立协会等措施,推动了基层动物诊疗行业的有序发展。

The animal medical wastes could cause great harm to human and contaminate the environment. Some prob- lems of grassroots animal clinics were found through investigating, including free disposing of wastes, less manage- ment institutions, difficult supervision and lack of communication and the reasons were analyzed, such as insufficient understanding, lack of regulations, inadequate input and lake of professional associations. Suggestions were put for- ward for system building, standard management, demonstration and extension and organizing associations in order to promote normal development of grassroots animal clinics.
