The development of directional IR countermeasure （DIRCM） technology, the research and improve- ment of the equipments of some foreign countries are described. And some DIRCM systems are introduced. The development of technologies such as laser, double-color IR warning and preci- sion tracking are researched. And the market of DIRCM system is forecasted. At last, the development trend of DIR- CM technology is described.
