Overview of the bacterial type Ⅵ secretion system

摘要 细菌Ⅵ型分泌系统(typeⅥsecretion system,T6SS)是一种在结构和作用机制上与噬菌体尾部类似的细胞器,二者均通过与靶细胞直接接触转运效应蛋白。最新研究表明,T6SS通过VipA/VipB鞘的收缩推动VgrG刺和Hcp管插入到靶细胞壁及细胞膜中,再通过Hcp管将抗菌及抗真核细胞效应子注入靶细胞,最后以ClpV介导的ATP依赖途径恢复构象。本文对T6SS的结构、功能及调控的最新进展进行综述。 The bacterial typeⅥ secretion system(T6SS)is an organelle that is structurally and mechanistically similar to the tail of a phage.This system can transport effector proteins through direct contact with target cells.Recent research has indicated that contraction of the VipA/VipB sheath drives the T6 SS VgrG spike/Hcp tube into target cell walls and cell membranes.Antibacterial and anti-eukaryotic effectors are injected into target cells through the Hcp tube,and the conformation is restored with the help of ClpV via an ATP-dependent pathway.This paper highlights the latest advances in the structure,function,and regulation of T6 SS.
