摘要 古代儒者之学重在礼乐养民。儒家的政治学 ,具有浓厚的饮食思维。所谓礼教或王道 ,基本上乃是甘饮美食以养民。这样一套政治哲学 ,不是西方政治学的范畴及概念所能理解或掌握的。也非仅从道德实践、心性修养方面论儒学者所能知。现今应将“生命的儒学”转向“生活的儒学”。扩大儒学的实践性 ,由道德实践及于生活实践、社会实践。除了讲德行美之外 ,还要讲生活美、社会人文风俗美。应恢复古儒家治平之学 。 Based on sample classical documentation, this article discusses the direction of reconstructing contemporary Confucianism from a new perspective different from that of ordinary Confucian scholars who only focus on morality and the cultivation of the mind. It argues that ancient Confucianism emphasized the livelihood of the people. The politics of Confucianism is heavily oriented toward food and drink. The so\|called benevolent government is basically aimed at providing good food for the people. This political philosophy cannot be comprehended in the context of Western political science. Neither can it be understood by the scholars who study Confucianism from the perspective of moral practice and character cultivation. The article argues that 'Confucianism of life' needs to be changed toward 'Confucianism of living', and that Confucianism needs to be expanded from the practice of morality to that of every day life and the larger society. It proposes to complement the aesthetics of virtues with that of life, society and humanity, and to revive the study of humane governance of classical Confucianism, by putting emphasis on social life.
