浅谈日本对外来文化的吸收

On Japan's Absorption of Foreign Culture

日本民族是一个善于吸收外来文化的民族,在历史上出现过三次大的吸收外来文化高潮:大化革新前后主要吸收唐朝文化,明治维新时期主要吸收西欧文化,二战后主要吸收美国文化。在吸收外来文化的过程中,他们根据需要有选择地吸收有益部分,并加以改造、创新,最终形成具有日本特色的文化,表现出文化的开放性、选择性和创新性等特点。分析外来文化对日本的影响以及日本吸收外来文化的特点,对我国吸收外来文化具有积极的借鉴意义。

Japan is a nation good at absorbing foreign culture, and there were three climaxes of absorbing foreign culture in Japan＇ s history. In the first climax, it has assimilated Chinese culture of the Tang Dynasty in the period of Taika Reform. In the second one, it has assimilated Western European culture in the period of Meiji Reform. In the third one, after World War II, it has assimilated American culture. But in the process of culture absorption, Ja- pan absorbed selectively the beneficial part according to the national conditions. With reformation and innovation of foreign culture, Japan eventually formed its native culture, manifesting the openness, selectivity and the creativity of its culture. The analysis of the influence of foreign culture on Japan and the Japanese characteristics of absorbing foreign culture can provide significant implications for our country on absorbing foreign culture.
