Machine Translation ,since its birth 70 years ago ,has been making its each and every step forward by drawing on the progress of its closely‐related fields like computer science ,artificial in‐telligence in particular .It greatly reduces translators’ repetitive ,manual ,tedious labor ,thus enables translators to focus on manipulating the unique ability to identify complex situations .CAT ,or Com‐puter‐aided Translation ,in its present most advanced stage ,an ever‐improving combination of Com‐puter Translation and Computer‐aided Translation ,is what is required of the translation industry and its trend of development .
