随着机械时代的发展,设计日趋现代化和全球化,传统手工布偶市场正在逐渐消失,人们对于传统布偶的兴趣也开始淡化,并把目光转移道西方的洋娃娃和机械玩具、塑料玩具上。具有民族特色的布偶不再受人关注,对于如何设计适合现代审美口味兼具民族特色的布偶成为关键。文章主要探索手工布偶文化渊源,讨论传统玩具和现代玩具的优缺点,结合现代人们的审美取向、利用现代设计手法对布偶进行创新设计,论证创新才是传统布偶文化得以延续的必由之路。

With the development of the Mechanical Age, the design of cloth toys tends to be modernized and globalized, and the traditional handmade cloth-toys market is gradually shrinking. Accordingly, most of people do lose interest in the traditional handmade cloth toys, and shift their attention to Western dolls, mechanical toys and plastic toys. Some people no longer pay close attention to the national cloth toys. Obviously, how to design the cloth toys of aesthetic value becomes a key study .The paper explores the cultural origins of traditional handmade cloth toys and focuses on the advantages and disadvantages of traditional and modern toys. Combining with people＇ s aesthetic orientation, the paper is intended to innovative the design of cloth toys with modern design methods and traditional skills. Above all, it demonstrates that innovation is the only way to the sustainable development of cloth toys of ethnic characteristics.
