Phascolosoma esculenta is a Chinese unique sipunculid with high nutritional value and medicinal value, bringing about a very promising market prospects. This paper summarizes the main research findings of Phascolosoma esculenta from chromosome karyotype, gonadal development, embryonic development, artificial breeding and aquaculture technology, which may lay the foundation for the latter research.
