摘要
设计了基于Blumlein脉冲成形网络(PFN)的紧凑型长脉冲功率模块。该模块将两路阻抗各为20Ω的Blumlein脉冲形成网络对称连接于LTD的初级绕组上,并采用同一个气体开关驱动,以保证两路PFN工作同步。PFN采用直角弯折"L"型结构,这种结构既保证了PFN与开关连接紧凑,又将模块横向尺寸缩减至最短,且对输出脉冲波形影响不大。实验结果表明,研制的长脉冲功率模块在10Ω负载上输出脉冲幅值约为135kV,半高宽约为180ns,前沿约为50ns,平顶约为100ns,重复脉冲频率可达到25Hz。
Based on Blumlein pulse forming network(PFN), a compact module for long-pulse power generator is designed. Two Blumlein PFNs with 20Ω impedance are symmetrically connected with a linear transformer driver(LTD) 's primary coil, and driven by an identical high voltage gas switch which ensures two Blumlein PFNs synchronizing operation. The Blumlein PFN uses L-type configuration. The design ensures PFN and gas switch being compactly connected and the horizontal size of the module be- ing the smallest. Meanwhile, the L-type configuration has little impact on the waveform of the output pulse. The output pulse of the long-pulse module connected with a 10Ω load is about 135 kV in amplitude and 180 ns in full width at half maximum with a rise time of about 50 ns and a flat top of about 100 ns.
