Cultural Integration: The Overall Vision of Marx's Conception of History

当前文化研究中存在着"人化"和"微观化"两种认识趋向。这种文化研究中的泛化现象,并没有完整反映出马克思文化理念的本意。从马克思历史观的角度看,马克思的文化概念只能从精神文化方面来理解。而只有整体理解马克思的历史观,改变以前对唯物史观的片面理解,即把马克思的历史观理解为关于历史的源起、本质、结构、发展动力、过程、必然趋势等问题为内容的宏观和微观相结合的整体历史观,才能改变文化研究中的泛化现象,回归马克思历史观唯物主义意义上的文化本意,也才能够确立当前中国特色的社会主义文化建设的正确方向。

Two trends of cultural ＂humanization＂ and ＂micro＂ exist in the current study of culture. This gen- eralization of cultural studies is not completely reflected in the intention of Marx＇s cultural philosophy. From the perspective of Marx＇s view of history, Marx＇s concept of culture can be understood only from the spiritual and cuhur- al aspects. This phenomenon is mainly caused by too narrow understanding of Marxist history. Only by understand- ing Marx＇s historical view of materialism thoroughly can we change the previous one-sided understanding. Namely Marx＇s view of history is understood as the overall content of history, such as the historical origin, the nature, struc- ture, development of power, process and the inevitable trend so as to change the generalization phenomenon in cul- tural research, return to Marx＇s historical materialism point of cultural meaning, and establish the fight direction of the construction of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics.
