摘要
该研究回顾了国外外语学习"动机缺失"的研究成果,并对公安民警的警务英语学习"动机缺失"原因进行调查分析。研究发现,民警警务英语学习动机缺失的影响因子有:努力信念、策略信念、能力信念和无助信念。外语教学要结合民警自身特点,重新审视警务英语教学培训,论文将为民警克服警务英语学习动机缺失提供支持与建议。
This study reviews the typical research of demotivation in the field of second foreign language learning motivation by foreign researchers,and reports a survey study which explored demotivating factors among frontline policemen. Four demotivators are extracted,indicating that capacity ability beliefs,strategy beliefs,capacity effort beliefs,and helplessness beliefs,which result in learners ’demotivation. Therefore,the present paper aims to provide tentative suggestions for policemen to minimize their demotivation.
