独立学院是我国高等教育大众化和经济社会发展的必然产物,已成为高等教育的重要组成部分。独立学院党委在过去十多年发展过程中,发挥了重要作用。但是目前独立学院党委的作用发挥出现了不同程度的弱化,需要在正确确定独立学院党委功能定位的基础上,建立起包括党建工作机制、思想引领机制、参议机制、监督保障机制在内的党委工作机制。

Independent college is Chinese popularization of higher education and the inevitable outcome of the economic and social development,has become an important part of higher education. Independent college Party committee in the past more than ten years development, has played an important role. But the role of the independent college Party committee has been weaken in va rying degrees, need to determine whether the independent college Party committee, on the basis of function orientation, set up in- cluding the working mechanism of Party construction, ideological leading mechanism, the senate mechanism, supervision and guarantee mechanism, the working mechanism of Party committee.
