外语类高校通识教育功效之调查探析

A Survey on the Efficacy of the General Education in Colleges and Universities of Foreign Languages

通过问卷调查的方式对西安外国语大学(以下简称西外大)通识教育的功效进行了研究。内容涵盖学生对通识教育的认知程度、对课程设置和教学方法的满意度、通识教育的评估方法,以及学生的学习效果。针对通识教育在西外大实施过程中所存在的不足,提出改善学校宣传方式、加强宣传力度、优化课程设置、改进教学和评估方法等措施,以进一步提高通识教育的效果。

This article studies the efficacy of the general education in Xi＇an International Studies University by means of questionnaires covering the degrees of the students＇ cognition of it,their degrees of satisfaction towards the courses offered and the teaching methods,and the assessment methods and their effectiveness of learning of it. In order to solve the deficiencies during the process of its implementation in the university,this article puts forward relevant measures like improving the ways of propaganda in the university,strengthening the propaganda,optimizing the courses offered and bettering both the teaching and assessment methods,to further enhance the effectiveness of it.
