社会保障待遇作为社会保障制度设计的重要内容,其支付水平的高低是一个国家或地区社会保障发展程度的直观体现。目前我国农民工的社会保障待遇与城镇职工相差较大,不仅影响到农民工群体的切身利益,对我国社会保障制度建设和新型城镇化建设也有不同程度影响。农民工社会保障待遇确定机制应遵循公平原则、保障农民工基本生活原则、与社会经济发展相适应原则等。

The level of social security is a direct scale of the national or regional social development.Chinese migrant workers and urban dwellers still enjoy a great gap with the social security. This affects the interests of the migrant workers and also the progress of the new urbanization. Thus, improvements should be made in accordance with the equality, basic level of standard of living, and socio-economic devel- opment to guarantee the benefit for migrant workers.
