21st century is a new era of knowledge economy. The development of this period mainly relies on new discoveries, inventions and innovation. Whether innovation can be fulfilled or not essentially depends on innovative spirit, innovative consciousness and innovative ability of talent. The students who have trained in the traditional and old-fashioned teaching model cannot meet the needs of the development of the market, only those innovative talents who cannot only master book knowledge but also use them flexibly in the social practice can inject new vitality to the development of the central China economic zone. Henan universities should take the opportunity and explore cultivation model of innovative talents actively in order to cultivate excellent talents, then make the effort to achieve the strategic goals of the central China economic zone and make certain contribution.
