Cropland soil moisture content is the most important farming information in agricultural production management; it has sig-nificant meanings to agricultural production. The article introduces the working status of soil moisture content monitoring in recent years in Liaoning province, summarizes the achievement and problems getting from the working, and provides the countermeasures of improv-ing moisture content monitoring and drought prediction level.
