在中国,民俗已越来越受到重视,学者们对民俗的特征提出了许多有见地的论述,对民俗研究与认识的深入有重要作用.但人们的论述却较少注意到民俗特性的两重性.应该看到,两重性是民俗最重要的特性之一,它一面促进人类优化发展,一面又伤害限制人类天性,在很多方面又阻碍了人类的发展.

Folklore has been gained a growing attention in China, and scholars have put forward a greatquantity of constructive perspectives to the features of the folklore, which plays an essential role to the study anddeep cognition of folklore. However, the duality of the folklore is less focused on. Duality is one of the most significantfeatures of folklore which promotes and optimizes the human development in one aspect while hurts andlimits the human nature in another so that impede the development of human.
