The“ Biggest Prison in Orient”: Historical Evolution and the Value Identification of Shanghai Ti Lanqiao Prison

近代监狱建筑是我国近代建筑的类型之一,上海提篮桥监狱是我国目前唯一一座被认定为全国重点文物保护单位的司法实体建筑,是近代监狱建筑中的突出代表。该文在对提篮桥监狱的历史沿革与保存现状进行深入分析的基础上,以国内文物建筑的价值认定体系为依据,从文物价值、社会价值两方面对提篮桥监狱进行评价,为之后的保护与再生工作提供基础。

Prison building is one of the types of modern architecture in our country, the one of Shanghai is the only legal entity construction that identified as national key cultural relics protection site in 2013.This paper is going to evaluate Shanghai Ti Lanqiao prison from two aspects of cultural value and social value on the basis of an in-depth analysis of Ti Lanqiao＇s historical evolution and current preservation situation, and according to the value of domestic cultural relic building system, in order to provide a basis reference for the protection and regeneration in later.
