The article introduces some common problems existing in the construction cost control ofmunicipal engineering, discusses and analyzes the municipal engineering construction cost control in the quota valuation mode. The engineering construction cost plays the important role in the municipal engineering construction projects, and is also one of the main control objectives of the project. There are more factors influencing the construction cost control in the municipal engineering design stage, i.e. no close combination of design and construction cost and the external objective factor, and also involving the administration order of the government departments. All these factors directly or indirectly influence the engineering investment. It is hard to control investment if mismanagement. The article analyzes the control of municipal engineering construction cost, and puts forward the relative countermeasures in order to provide some references for the control of construction cost.
