An Empirical Study on the Strategies-based Instruction Integrated in Oral English Teaching for Adult Learners in Open Education

摘要 本研究旨在探索基于SBI的融入式口语策略教学项目对提高开放教育成人学习者口语水平及策略意识的有效性。结果表明,融入式口语策略教学尽管没能提高成人学习者的口语水平,却增强了其元认知策略意识,这为今后开展策略教学研究提供了实证数据和借鉴作用。 This study explores the effects of strategies-based oral English teaching program on the improvement of adult learners' oral proficiency and the promotion of strategy awareness. Results suggest that the program enhanced learners' metacognitive strategy awareness, although it failed in improving learners' oral proficiency, which provides empirical data and pedagogical implications for future studies on strategy instruction.
