ATP biological fluorescence method is one kind of rapid detection method for microorganisms, since it is easy, sensitive and immediately, etc. In this paper, principles, progresses, characteristics, influencing factors of ATP biological fluorescence method and its application in Railway food safety supervision are discussed. Meanwhile, the current problems and countermeasures of the ATP rapid detection method in practical application are presented. Finally, the prospect of this technique is analyzed.
