摘要
步入新世纪以来,随着全球化与国际化的不断推进、知识生产模式的转型以及学科制度危机的影响,哈佛大学博士生培养面临前所未有的挑战。为了有效应对这一挑战,哈佛大学及时调整博士生培养战略,创设了一系列的跨学院联合培养博士的学位项目,而这在一定程度上也促成了跨学院联合培养博士模式的基本形成。在具体发展过程中,哈佛大学跨学院联合培养博士模式表现出鲜明的特征:创建多方协作机制,实现博士生的全面综合发展;加强课程与培养方式的多样性,满足不同类型博士生的需求;注重卓越教育理念的引领,切实提升博士生培养的质量。
Since entering into the new century, with the advancement of globalization and internationalization, the transformation of knowledge production mode as well as the in- fluence of the disciplinary institution crisis, Harvard University' s doctoral education is fac- ing unprecedented challenges. In order to cope with these challenges, Harvard University established a series of interfacuhy co-training PhD degree programs, which contributed to the basic formation of interfaculty co-training PhD pattern. In the course of its develop- ment, the pattern showed some distinctive features:creating the multi-party collaboration mechanism to achieve comprehensive development of PhD students, strengthening the di- versity of courses and training methods to meet the needs of different types of PhD students, focusing on the excellence in education philosophy to improve the quality of doctoral train- ing effectively.
