Prof.LI Huilin's Experience in Treating Diabetes by the Theory of Treatment Based on Liver Functions

通过探讨肝与糖尿病发病的关系及现代医学研究,介绍导师李惠林教授从肝论治糖尿病的临床经验。李教授认为,从肝论治应贯穿糖尿病治疗的始终,即通过疏肝、平肝、清肝以使人体气机畅达,升降有序,气血津液输布正常,气血调和,则诸症可愈。

Combined the exploration of relations between liver and diabetes occurrence and modem medical researches, the clinical experience of Prof. LI in treating diabetes by the theory of treatment based on liver functions were introduced in the paper. She insists that the theory of treatment based on liver functions ought to be applied in the whole process of treating diabetes, namely, all symptoms can disappear by soothing and calming liver as well as clearing away liver heat to smooth the qi movements, order the ascent and descent of qi, make the distribution of qi, blood and liquid normal as well as harmonize qi and blood.
